That’s a lie. I’ve been sitting around in my boxers all day watching TV! Anyway, Bobby was called to work, so I (Will) have dug into the archives and found this beauty of a show. A show that harkens back to the origins of WBKE as you know it. Bobby and I found ourselves without a guest, so we did what we do best: dick around for like 3 hours making fun of people on Skype.
And we discovered something disturbing on the adventure.

Last but certainly not least, enjoy this strange scene from what would have been Idea Men. As you can see, it differs from Young & Dumb as we are meant to be older (we’re playing ourselves…think Curb Your Enthusiasm or Louis), and instead of the classically scripted style, this is all improvised, though we have a goal in mind. I love a lot of this. I hate some of this. But that was part of the fun of trying. Attempting for once to produce something for people to watch and laugh at, while getting to scratch a personal itch. I want to make something huge of Idea Men. In many ways, it’s kind of a sequel to Young & Dumb, but at this point I’m rambling. I could of course talk about this for hours, but instead, why don’t you just enjoy the last of our #NBCPlayground submissions, because you’ve supported our habit, and because you’re our friends, enjoy Idea Men!

Now check out this pitch video for our OTHER NBC Comedy Playground submission Idea Men. This may be one of the greatest ideas Bobby and I have ever had, and it came directly from #WBKE! I have no idea which episode it was, but we discusses on Will and Bobby Know Everything the idea of a sitcom that references other sitcoms. One week we’re doing a Rosanne-esque show, the next week we’re in Seattle living like Frasier. We wanted to do an episode where two sets of people each need to share a single horse costume, but we had ideas for this show spanning YEARS, and I think it would still be a terrific sitcom for the modern era. Taking what we corny before, and making it ridiculous and fun now.

Look how young…Anyway, I stand by this scene, I stand by Bobby’s amazing acting skills, and I especially stand by that moment where we reverse the footage of Bobby opening a window. This scene also features my fiancee Allie and our dog, Molly. Look at that. I made them TV stars. Well…no I didn’t, because Bobby and I lost. Young & Dumb will return some day…
