Introducing Book Club Shmook Club! A Brand New Podcast!
Hey everybody, it’s me, Will, and I’m pumped to tell you that I’m featured on a brand new podcast hosted by one of my favorite WBKE guests of all time. Also one of my favorite people. Also my sister: Kristen Rogers!
Book Club Shmook Club is somewhat what it sounds like, we’ll be picking a book to read, chopping it into bits, and then discussing each bit every other Thursday!

Pretty great, right? As you heard, the first book we’re reading is Doctor Sleep, Stephen King’s sequel to The Shining! We’ll be kicking off the show proper with the first 10 chapters (that’s about 54% for you e-bookers), on Thursday, November 14th, so you’ve got some time to grab a copy and read along.
We’re going to be having a damn good time on this show, so I highly advise that you start reading, we’re going to have a lot to say, and we’re going to want to hear what you think, as well!

Studio Rejects: Godzilla Part Three
Things are already heating up in Godzilla…you know, relatively. The monster is hiding in New York City somewhere, which raises a surprising amount of questions. Why the hell would Godzilla have any interest in spending any time in NY? How the hell did it manage to hide without anyone seeing anything? Is there a chance this movie isn’t written well?? We may never know for sure.

A FREE Story Slam in Highland Park
Bobby and I are hosting a FREE storytelling event at Ruthie’s in Highland Park!
Here’s what it is: Starting at 7:00pm on Sunday, November 10th, anybody who signs up get’s 5 minutes at the microphone, where they can tell a story of their choosing. Comedy, tragedy, everything is welcome and encouraged!
The night can be whatever you want! Want to participate, you can sign up! Just want to have a fun night out? Kick back and have fun, it’s your choice!
Want to participate? Email WillAndBobby@gmail.com to get on the list! Spend the next couple weeks considering what kind of story you want to tell. Something meaningful that happened to you recently, something you’re struggling with, or even something weird/funny that happened!
We do have a theme for the night, which you can certainly use as a jumping-off point:
“Shouldn’t have done that”
Roll that thought around, and see what comes to mind. Explore!
Want to listen? Mark down the date, and then, that night, here’s what you need to do: Walk into Ruthie’s at 70 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park, 08904, and grab a table. That’s it. Done. Enjoy! Grab some coffee or a pastry and have a good time.
This story slam can be whatever you want it to be (Please spread the word!), and no matter what, it’s going to be a good time.
